El Milagro Del Tepeyac- On Dec. 9, 1531, a young man, Juan Diego, was on his way to church, when suddenly up on the hill top of Tepeyac, an apparition formed and spoke to him. The divinity was that of The Lady of Guadalupe, or The Virgin Mary. She asked him to build a temple there on Tepeyac, a place where she would listen to and answer the peoples prayers. The young man was then asked to let others know, so he ran to the bishop. The bishop did not believe the Juan and thus asked for some proof. On Dec. 12, Milagro Del Tepeyac: Juan returned to Tepeyac. The apparition spoke to him again. Juan explained that he needed proof. The Lovely Mother told him to seek out the flowers that would be in bloom, although it was the dead of winter.
