Diana Curly Vermicelli is pasta made from wheat and it is commonly used in the Latin countries to made “sopa de fideos” or chicken noodle soup. This product has been used in Italy as far back as the 14th century and it is also used in North America, Asia and Africa. In Asia the vermicelli can be made with rice flour, mung bean flour or wheat flour depending on the country. In places like Persia the vermicelli is used to make desserts, and in Egypt is common to brown the noodles in fat, add rice and liquid and cook as a rice dish. Diana Curly vermicelli cooks very quickly since is very thin, and can also be served with tomato sauce or any pasta sauce that works with long noodles.
